Some labs call a paid API (OpenAI or Anthropic) that bills you directly, at your own risk. This project never sees your API key or your money — you create your own account, get your own key, and pay the provider directly. Check the pricing page for the model you're using before you run a lab, and keep an eye on your usage if you're cost-conscious.

Some labs also send your prompts and documents to a third-party API (OpenAI or Anthropic) for processing. Those providers handle your data under their own privacy and retention policies, not this project's — don't paste passwords, confidential work material, or anyone's personal, health, or financial information into a prompt unless you've checked that policy yourself. Ollama runs entirely on your own machine, so nothing you type into an Ollama-backed lab ever leaves it.
